EIFL renews agreement with De Gruyter

EIFL has renewed its agreement with the academic publisher, De Gruyter, for two more years, until 31 December 2026. 

The renewed agreement provides free and discounted access to the De Gruyter journals collection. In addition, the agreement includes free or discounted Article Processing Charges (APCs) for authors from EIFL partner countries for publishing articles in open  access in 363 DeGruyter Gold, Hybrid and Subscribe to Open (S2O) journals. 

Free or discounted reading access 

The agreement gives reading access to a collection of over 450 journals, and includes highly cited journals such as Nanophotonics, Reviews in Chemical Engineering and Applied Rheology. Reading access is available to 30 EIFL partner countries. 

Free or discounted publishing in open access

Authors from all of EIFL’s 37 partner countries are able to publish free of charge in over 50 De Gruyter journals that are included in the Subscribe to Open (S2O) model. In addition, the agreement provides free or discounted APCs in De Gruyter’s gold fully open access journals and hybrid journals for some countries.
