EIFL has renewed an agreement with Wolters Kluwer, for a further year until 31 December 2024. The agreement is for waived and discounted article processing charges (APCs) in two Wolters Kluwer Health fully open access journals that cover a broad spectrum of medical scientific disciplines:

- Medicine:Case Reports and Study Protocols
WAIVED APCS
Corresponding authors from 20 EIFL partner countries can continue to publish accepted research articles in these journals for free. This means that they will not be charged any APCs. The countries are:
Congo, Cote d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Lesotho, Malawi, Maldives, Moldova, Myanmar, Nepal, Senegal, Sudan,Tanzania, Uganda, Ukraine, Zambia, Zimbabwe
DISCOUNTED APCS
Corresponding authors from 12 EIFL partner countries can publish accepted research articles in these journals at a discounted rate:
Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Botswana, Fiji, Georgia, Kosovo, Namibia, North Macedonia, Palestine, Serbia, Uzbekistan
