EIFL renews agreement with Edward Elgar
Agreement expands access to more content and now also covers open access publishing

EIFL has renewed its current agreement with Edward Elgar Publishing until December 2022. Under this renewed agreement, libraries and consortia from 30 EIFL partner countries are eligible for free access Edward Elgar’s 10 journals, over 750 development studies and environment e-books, and can publish at a discounted APC (Article Processing Charge) rate in open access in their journals.

FREE ACCESS TO JOURNALS AND 750+ E-BOOKS

For 2020, Edward Elgar has expanded the access for libraries from 30 EIFL partner countries to include all of its 10 journals covering law, economics, geography and management, as well as over 750 development studies and environment e-books.

Libraries in the following countries are eligible for free access:

Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Cambodia, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Ethiopia, Fiji, Georgia, Ghana, Kenya, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Lesotho, Macedonia, Malawi, Maldives, Moldova, Namibia, Nepal, Palestine, Senegal, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Zambia, Zimbabwe

DISCOUNTED APCs

Authors from 38 countries can publish their articles in open access at a discounted APC of 50% in one of Edward Elgar’s nine journals.

APC waivers are offered to authors from the following countries: Armenia, Belarus, Botswana, Cambodia, China, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Estonia, Ethiopia, Fiji, Georgia, Ghana, Kenya, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Latvia, Lesotho, Lithuania, Malawi, Maldives, Moldova, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, North Macedonia, Palestine, Senegal, Serbia, Slovenia, Sudan, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Zambia, Zimbabwe
