EIFL has renewed its agreement with Cambridge University Press (CUP) for access to and publishing in open access in Cambridge University Press journals for a further year, until December 2023.

Libraries in 12 countries are eligible for discounted access to the Cambridge University Press Journals Collection. Subscription prices are the same or lower than those in 2022.

Discounted read & publish
The agreement includes read & publish offers for institutions and/or consortia in Albania, Armenia, Botswana, Estonia, Fiji, Georgia, Ghana, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Namibia, North Macedonia, Palestine, Uzbekistan and Zimbabwe.
This means that if a consortium takes up the offer to pay a combined fee for accessing content and publishing, authors affiliated to institutions that participate in the read and publish agreement will be able to publish their articles in open access free of charge in fully open access and hybrid journals that are part of the subscribed collection.
Waived Article Processing Charges (APCs)
The agreement provides waived APCs for corresponding authors from 19 EIFL partner countries when publishing in 55 Cambridge University Press fully open access journals:

Discounted APCs
Corresponding authors from 12 EIFL countries are also eligible to receive a 50% discount on APCs when publishing in 55 Cambridge University Press fully open access journals:
