EIFL has renewed its current agreement with the Royal Society Publishing to provide free and discounted access to the Royal Society Journals Collection for EIFL partner institutions and consortia until 2020.
The Royal Society is the world's oldest scientific academy, dating back to 1660.
The Royal Society Journals Collection comprises nine high-impact journals in biological sciences, and physical, mathematical and engineering sciences. Subscribers benefit from access to the Digital Archive which contains every paper published in the Royal Society's journals since 1665.
The agreement runs until December 2020 and is available to 39 EIFL partner consortia and their member libraries. The countries are:
Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Cambodia, Congo, Estonia, Ethiopia, Fiji, Georgia, Ghana, Kenya, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Latvia, Lesotho, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malawi, Maldives, Moldova, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Palestine, Poland, Senegal, Serbia, Slovenia, Sudan, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Zambia, Zimbabwe
