
Iryna Kuchma, EIFL Open Access Programme Manager, will talk about the implications for repositories of open science developments in Africa at the COAR Annual Conference 2025. Kuchma will also moderate a conference session on visibility of research outputs in repositories.
The conference is jointly organized by COAR (the Confederation) of Open Access Repositories), JPCOAR (the Consortium of Open Access Repositories Japan) and the National Institute of Informatics in Japan. It will bring together international and Japanese participants to share experiences, identify priority activities across communities and contribute to the development of a shared vision for the future of repositories. The theme of the conference is Trends in Policy, Discovery, and Innovation.
EIFL is a founding member of COAR and Kuchma serves on the COAR Executive Board and will participate in the Executive Board meeting before the conference.
