Teresa Hackett, EIFL Copyright and Libraries Programme Manager will take part in the 5th Global Congress on IP and the Public Interest, the main convening of a global network of over 800 researchers, activists, and practitioners who work on the intersection of intellectual property and promotion of the public interest. More than 200 speakers from over 80 countries will be presenting at the Congress.
Teresa will participate in two sessions. At the pre-conference on 'User Rights in Domestic Copyright Reform', Teresa will present 'Rate my copyright law', a set of tools prepared by EIFL to support domestic reform. In the workshop 'Out of the Stacks: A World Tour of Library, Archive and Museum Copyright Reform', Teresa will present highlights from EIFL partner countries that are in the process of amending their laws.
