EIFL team members, Edvaldas Baltrunas, Teresa Hackett, Rima Kupryte, Ramune Petuchovaite and Susan Schnuer) will take participate in the 2018 International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions World Library and Information Congress (IFLA WLIC 2018).
The EIFL Public Library Innovation Programme (EIFL-PLIP) is bringing 15 public librarians from 12 countries in Africa who are taking part in IYALI 2018 (the Initiative for ‘Young African Library Innovators’ 2018). IYALI is an international learning experience for emerging public library innovators from Africa, organized by EIFL-PLIP in partnership with the African Library and Information Associations and Institutions (AfLIA) and IFLA.
In addition to attending sessions and workshops, IYALI 2018 participants will present a poster on New Services and Community Outreach in African Public Libraries. The poster will introduce the IYALI 2018 participants and their library services to delegates to the congress.
