For the second year, participation at the annual WIPO Assemblies takes place in hybrid mode, due to the COVID pandemic. Member states may participate in Geneva in person, while organizations with observer status will join remotely.

Items of special interest to EIFL are general statements (agenda item 5), Report on the Standing Committee on Copyright and Related Rights (SCCR) (agenda item 11), and the Assembly of the Marrakesh Treaty to Facilitate Access to Published Works for Persons Who Are Blind, Visually Impaired or Otherwise Print Disabled (agenda item 28).

The indicative timetable for agenda item 5 is 4th & 5th October, agenda item 11 is 5th October, and agenda item 28 is 7th October. The sessions will run from 10am-1pm and 3pm-6pm CET each day.
