Teresa Hackett, EIFL Copyright and Libraries Programme Manager, will take part in the second annual Public Domain Day celebration, to be held at the American University Washington College of Law.
The event brings together organizations, musicians, artists, activists and thinkers to celebrate the works entering the public domain in 2020, and highlights the need for limits on copyright to improve access to knowledge, foster creativity and build a healthy society. Public Domain Day is collaboratively organized by the Internet Archive, SPARC, the Institute for Intellectual Property & Social Justice, Creative Commons, Creative Commons USA, and the Program on Information Justice and Intellectual Property.
You can see the full programme here, and join a live webcast of the event at 6:30pm ET (11.30pm GMT) here.
