Teresa Hackett, EIFL Copyright and Libraries Programme Manager, will join a panel discussion at the European Parliament in Strasbourg hosted by Member of the European Parliament (MEP) Therese Comidini, who is charged with drawing up the report of the European Parliament Legal Affairs Committee on European Commission proposals for copyright reform.
The lunchtime event for MEPs will focus on three important issues - access to digital collections in the library, making available out-of-commerce works to the public and cross-border support document supply between libraries.
EIFL will address the meeting about cross-border document supply between libraries.
Other panelists are from the National University Library of Strasbourg, the Conference of European National Libraries (CENL) and Europeana. Closing remarks will be by Catherine Stihler, MEP. Click here for more information.
