EIFL and TASCHA (the USA-based Technology & Social Change Group) will conduct a three-day mobile information literacy workshop for 19 public librarians selected to be trainers within the Kenya National Library Service (KNLS) network.

The training-of-trainers is a new phase of EIFL's broader capacity building initiative for public librarians in Kenya. The 19 trainees will train their colleagues in over 60 public libraries across the country. The libraries will then be able to transfer knowledge and skills to their communities.

Mobile information literacy training teaches people how to find information, how to evaluate its quality and credibility, and how to create and share online information effectively and securely using mobile devices.
