EIFL Open Access Programme Manager Iryna Kuchma will co-organize a session at the 2018 Digital Infrastructures for Research (DI4R2018) conference to be held at the University of Lisbon.
DI4R2018 is jointly organized by EOSC-hub (European Open Science Cloud-hub); GÉANT (the pan-European data network for the research and education community); OpenAIRE (Open Access Infrastructure for Research in Europe), and PRACE (Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe). The conference offers knowledge-sharing, networking and discussion opportunities for Europe’s researchers, developers and service providers.
Kuchma's session, co-organized with fellow training coordinators, is titled Have a CoP of T in our café (indico.egi.eu/indico/event/3973/session/41/contribution/35). The session will map out training activities of various pan-European and European Open Science Cloud-related initiatives, and strengthen their training capacity by improved alignment, sharing experiences and good practices, and initiating cross-infrastructure training activities and curricular frameworks.
Kuchma serves on the DI4R Conference Organizing Committee on behalf of the OpenAIRE project. EIFL is a partner in the OpenAIRE project, leading a task force on open access, open data, research data management and open science training.
