ABOUT THE AGREEMENT
OVERVIEW
EIFL has negotiated waived Article Processing Charges (APCs) for corresponding authors from EIFL partner countries when they publish in the Microbiology Society fully open access and hybrid journals.
- Hybrid journals: International Journal of Systematic and Evolutionary Microbiology, Journal of General Virology and Journal of Medical Microbiology
- Fully open access journals: Access Microbiology, Microbial Genomics and Microbiology
TERMS & CONDITIONS
The agreement is valid for all six journals published by Microbiology Society: Access Microbiology, International Journal of Systematic and Evolutionary Microbiology, Journal of General Virology, Journal of Medical Microbiology, Microbial Genomics and Microbiology. The hybrid journals will convert to Subscribe to Open during the agreement period.
Below are the agreed terms:
No Article Processing Charges fees for corresponding authors from: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Botswana, Congo DR, Cote d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Fiji, Georgia, Ghana, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Latvia, Lesotho, Lithuania, Malawi, Maldives, Moldova, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Palestine, Senegal, Serbia, Slovenia, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Zambia, Zimbabwe
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Corresponding Authors from Eligible Countries shall be automatically recognized when submitting their article to a Microbiology Society journal and shall be offered the applicable APC waiver.
